Catcher Jason Kendall hit 2 doubles and had 2 RBI and Doug Brocail came
through with a solid 3 innings at the ballpark as the Dyersville Jurassics
beat the reeling Chainsaw Proctologists by the count of 5 to 2.
Dyersville had 3 runs cross the plate in the 4th inning when they had 4 base
hits. After two were out Jorge Cantu initiated the scoring spurt when he
doubled. Ben Francisco followed and he slapped a base-hit. Kendall then
doubled. Jason Bartlett stepped in and he doubled. Shane Victorino came to
the plate and was walked intentionally. Both teams totaled 8 hits on the
afternoon.
Felix Hernandez(6-10) allowed 2 runs in 5 and 2/3 innings, and picked up the
victory. Pedro Martinez(0-4) was the losing pitcher. Dyersville now has a
record of 58-54. Chainsaw continued their losing ways and their record is
